Helpful measuring tips:

To determine your bracelet size, measure the wrist just below the wrist bone with a flexible tape measure and add 1" (1/2" for child's bracelet). If you don't have a flexible tape measure, use a piece of string or something flexible and measure with a ruler.
 

For children, necklaces range from 12-14 inches for 3-7 years and 12-16 inches for 8-12 years; bracelets range from 5-6 1/2 inches for 3-7 years and from 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 inches for 8-12 years.

If the bracelet is a gift, use the following chart as a guideline:
